2. What Our Warranty Covers
2.1. Seam Durability
Should the seams of your brace give way under normal wear within the year, rest assured, we are here to assist. We cover such instances, provided the belt shows no significant signs of extensive wear.
2.2. Cleanliness and Presentation
We ship the new product after inspection in the original branded packaging. But the human factor when inspecting the goods before shipping can also happen. Should you discover any unaddressed stains or foreign objects upon delivery, we kindly ask you to inform us for an opportunity to offer a free exchange. Claims must be reported within 3 days of receipt for a free exchange of the same item in the same size.
2.3. Velcro Durability
Years of production and use of the belt by our customers have proven that the type of Velcro that we now put on our belt is the best and most reliable. However, our warranty graciously extends to instances where Velcro hooks detach within the year, a rare sign of material flaw.
3. Exclusions from Warranty
3.1. Intensive Wear
Signs of intensive daily wear, mechanical damage, exposure to chemicals, improper use or care, pollution, or excessive temperature exposure invalidate the warranty. The belt's fabric and hook-and-loop fastener are subject to wear over time; thus, the warranty does not cover tear or misuse.
3.2. Design Alterations
Any forced changes to the belt's design or damage from washing machines or dryers are not covered.
3.3. Velcro Is Clogged
Velcro tends to get clogged with extraneous fibers from other clothes or animal fur. We do not cover the warranty if the Velcro is clogged with fibers and has stopped working. We recommend cleaning the fastener periodically to prolong its effectiveness.

Navy Back Support Belt — Size Chart
Sizing varies by brand and style, and choosing the correct size is essential for effective support. At AVESTON, our sizing is based on actual measurements taken around the abdomen at navel level (at the belly button, or the widest part of your torso).
Each of our models has its own size chart, designed to match its specific fabric and total belt length. This is intentional—we separate our back belt supports into sizes to avoid excess, bulky fabric bunching around the stomach and to ensure a secure, comfortable fit.
How Do You Know Your Back Belt Size?
Please note: Your pants waist size is not the same as your true belly circumference. Two people can wear the same jeans size but have very different belly measurements. For the best fit, please use our size chart image and follow the detailed measuring instructions below.
Step 1:
Follow these instructions carefully to determine the correct size. Standing in a relaxed position. Use the soft tape measure. Make a measurement around your belly at navel level (belly button) and find the circumference around the widest part of your body where you plan to wear the Navy lumbar support belt.
If you don't have soft tape, you can use construction tape.
You can also take measurements using any rope and then measure this length with an office ruler.
Step 2:
Make sure to check the size chart image and any sizing instructions before purchasing.
Step 3:
In order to make you fit and comfortable, make sure to apply the back belt for lower back pain by following the steps in the instruction manual inside the package.

What keeps the back of this brace stiff to help the back? Is there metal or plastic ribs in there?
The AVESTON brace is crafted from orthopedic stiff material, enhanced with six reinforced plastic bones that offer rigidity yet flexibility in key areas around the back and sides. An effective lumbar brace must strike a balance between being stiff enough to support and flexible enough to ensure mobility and all-day comfort. Our brace achieves this with a thin, firm orthopedic material that provides an ideal mix of rigidity and flexibility, allowing you to work comfortably without overheating.
Do you sell 2x or 3x sizes?
Our largest size is XL, which has a full length of 135 cm (53.2 inches), extending up to 56 inches with stretching. To ensure the belt maintains its strength, a minimum overlap of 3-4 inches is required. The X-Large size is suitable for measurements at NAVEL LEVEL between 46-52 inches. Please note that other sellers may advertise the same length as their 2X or 3X sizes.
I'm 5 feet tall, weigh 130 lbs, and have a 39" waist. Which size should I order?
The pant waist size differs from belly circumference. To select the perfect size, please use a soft, flexible tape measure to find your belly's circumference. Refer to the size chart provided in the picture. Ensure you measure across your belly button from the front to get the correct measurement.
I'm right in the middle of 2 sizes. My navel measures 95 cm (37.5 inches). Should I order a medium or large size?
Both Medium and Large sizes will fit you. The Medium size has a full length of 105 cm (41 inches) without stretching, giving you 10 cm (4 inches) of fabric to comfortably wrap the belt around. Additionally, if you loosen the side straps, the brace can stretch even further for a snug fit.
For the Large size, you would need to overlap the main Velcro significantly, resulting in extra fabric layers on the belly. The Large size has a length of 45.5 inches ( 115 cm ) without stretching. If you loosen the side straps, the brace can stretch even further to 47,5 inches (120 cm).You would also need to adjust the side belt tighter for a proper fit.
My waist is 37 inches excactly what belt size should I order?
Please take your measurement at the navel level for the best fit. Refer to the size charts on our page, which will guide you on the correct size to order based on your navel circumference, rather than your waist measurement. Once you measure your navel circumference, you'll be able to determine the right size to order.
What is the length, and maximum width of the medium size?
The Medium size measures 41 inches (105 cm) in length without stretching. With the side straps loosened, it can extend up to 42.5 inches (108 cm). The widest part of the back measures 8.2 inches (21 cm), and the front width is 6 inches (15 cm).
What size should I get if I am 45 1/2" at my navel measurement?
We recommend choosing the XLarge size. The side belt allows you to adjust the size and compression for a tighter or looser fit as needed.
What should I do if the Velcro wears off?
Caring for Velcro:
In our lumbar belts, we employ various high-quality Velcro types, selected through testing for their durability. Over time, however, Velcro may weaken as fibers from clothes and pets accumulate in its hooks. To extend its lifespan, we recommend regularly cleaning these fibers from the Velcro.
How should this brace be cleaned?
It should be hand-washed in warm water with a mild detergent. Please do not place the back brace in the washing machine, as it contains six ribs (plastic lumbar supports) that could be damaged during a machine cycle, compromising its strong support feature. Each brace has a care label attached. You can always check this label for cleaning instructions.

Once you position the back support belt and adjust it to your desired fit, pulling the strings for a firm brace, it snugly fits the targeted areas without bulkiness. It's discreet enough to wear under a short-sleeved shirt and remain unnoticeable.
Will this lumbar back brace be suitable for short women? I am 5 ft 1 inch and have a short waist with wide hips and a thin waist
The AVESTON back brace measures 8.2 inches in height at the back and is designed to cover the dorsal vertebrae from S1 to T12, as well as the Lumbar area from L1 to L5. For those with a short torso, it may exert uncomfortable pressure on the ribs. We recommend measuring yourself to see how it will fit, especially since the front height at the abdominal area is 6 inches.
The belt is intended to sit on the lower part of the back and the top of the hips. If it causes pressure against the chest with its plastic ribs, adjusting it lower might help. You can slightly pull down the belt for a better fit. However, short-waisted women, particularly those with wide hips and a thin waist, may find this Navy back supporter doesn't perfectly conform to their body shape, potentially leading to an incorrect fit due to their unique proportions. We recommend to check our Black brace model with aditional Lumbar Pad as it has more flaxible material + additional back support.
How many hours a day should you wear a back brace? Can you sleep in this?
It depends on the specific spine condition and your physician's advice. Typically, physicians recommend not wearing it while sleeping and suggest limiting use to no more than 8 hours a day to avoid muscle weakening. You can definitely wear the brace during the day, whether you're moving around or sitting. If your physical therapist advises wearing it at night or while lying down, it's best to follow their guidance.
Can I wear the brace directly on bare skin if I have sensitive skin?
For those with sensitive skin, it's advisable to wear the belt over natural-fiber clothing to prevent allergic reactions. Ensure your skin is free from gels, oils, greases, ointments, or similar substances before wearing the belt. We strongly recommend always having a layer, like a shirt, underneath the belt to prevent small particles like grit or masonry from causing significant skin irritation

I got this since I am old, like I had to fight dinosaurs (both ways of course) on the way to school old, per my teenage son. When I work in the yard I am hobbled for the next day, so I got this to help. High quality product as far as I can tell. My issue is I was right at 45" on the measurement and the page says if so to order larger which I did. Once I received it I could tell that unless I get fatter soon (possible) it would not provide the level of support I wanted. Contacted seller about a exchange and while not possible seller made sure I was taken care of and very happy with the outcome. I will leave a review on the Large size in a day or two when it arrives.

I am wearing this to compensate for my weak core and to prevent back pain. I've worn this during work and can agree that it is very breathable. When you take a deep breathe the back of the belt stretches to allow you to breathe without compromising the support. It doesn't dig into my hip bone, I have a short torso and feared that it would. It also does a good job of not shoving my belly fat up or down. It literally offers back support and does nothing more. Just what I needed. I do wear mine over a camisole because the fabric irritates me, but I have sensory issues, this might not be the case for everyone else.In summary, I love it. Great value for the price.

My Back was broken by a careless person on 7/16/2020. Vertebrate L2 burst/compression fracture. The Orthopedic Surgeon recommended a brace they sell at the Hospital for $600. He said most people use that one since insurance pays most of the tab. I wanted no part of wasting anyone's money, insurance or not. So I looked for a brace and decided on this one. The support seems great and you can adjust the straps on each side for more pressure. The Velcro-type material stays put. So I went back to a follow-up appointment with my Doctor and wore my brace. I took it off for the exam and the Doctor asked me where I got it? I said on AVESTON. He said except for the label name being different, it looks nearly identical to the one the Hospital sells for $600. He was very impressed and asked me to bring the name of the brace AVESTON so he can recommend it. This brace is holding up well and for the price, you cannot go wrong!BTW, avoid breaking you Back at all costs. The pain for the first 3 weeks was way beyond anything I've even experienced in my life. I learned what a "10" pain level truly is. Take care everyone!

I originally ordered a medium since my waist is 34" however, the sizes run a bit smaller. Have had it only one day and what I do is split and lift logs for a splitter machine. So far it is working but we'll see at the end of a two week period. When I ordered the medium it came with a neat velvet type carry bag. (update)I have been using it while I do manual labor. I am a strong 73 yo that has not slowed down and this brace now has me going longer. This has been the best made brace I have used and is constructed well and as far as the straps are concerned they all are well made, not discomfort and have even used it on my bare skin when it is so stinking hot. Now that I wear it about 8 hours I'm going to figure out how to put a piece of cloth, maybe linen or something to keep it from rubbing my skin, but then again I'm doing labor intensive work. Would I but again, yup, sure would.

I have bought back supports before that looked very much like this one, but they did not work as well as this one. First, I like the fact that this one comes in 4 sizes and there is not just a S,M, and L. Mine extends to 52" and it is proportioned to my larger measurements. When you first put it on, it feels stiff, but after a few times of wearing it, the brace begins to shape itself to your contours. It supports my low back whether I am upright or sitting, and I do not have the pain there that I used to.The instructions are very good: put the brace on with the straight edge on top, then adjust elastic straps. Wear it during or after exercise or work, but not more than 8 hours at a time (muscles need to work and relax.). Mfg. suggests wearing brace over a cotton T-shirt, but I prefer to wear mine next to the skin--over a tank top if the weather is hot.

I purchased this brace in June 2018 for housework, it was perfect. Gave the best support and adjustable. I put it on today for a spinal fracture and ahhhh thank you Dear Lord! I’m wearing it sitting and will sleep in it. That spinal fracture 5 day ago, compression fracture falling down stairs. Top 5 in hideously painful injuries resulting in shrieking, crying and screaming please make it stop! I was released from the hospital yesterday afternoon with a back brace that I've nicknamed The Iron Maiden. I was instructed ; “Wear it when you're walking, too uncomfortable to sit with it on as well as sleeping in it. I would have said to the patient “ Wear it when you’re walking but it is full of steel and hard parts and will make your back hurt worse with it on then without it. By the time you get this instrument of the devil on you will be panting in pain from your spine fracture since it will require movements that are forbidden for a spine fracture. If you attempt to sit with it on you’ll be plenty sorry and don’t even dream of trying to sleep in it.

REally like this, very helpful, only comment would be, that I am right in the middle of the size chart for the brace i bought, and I would like to have been able to get the brace a bit stiffer. i also expected the ribbing to to be situated closer to the spine, and less over the hips. excellent brace all around.

With all honesty, i was in dounts before i bought this product, i thought my back pain is a done deal, i work in constructions & i was installing hardwood flooring & started being really in pain from all the bad postures, so after i bought this and tried it, its an instant relief, i couldnt believe it, and when i took it off i felt discomfort again, so i put it for as long that i was working, its a great product, but i think also Dr.s would warn you to not use muscle support for long period of times so your muscles wont become dependant on any support devices and become weaker which will cause more problems, as long as you use it moderately.I recommend it big time.

I bought this to help my back recover from playing weekly sports. I wear it before and after my Monday hockey session and it really helps my back during the rest of the week. Its easy to use and comfortable to wear. I don't really bother with any of the adjustment options though you can tweak the straps and metal rods. I can wear it over a thin t-shirt or a big sweater without issue. The velcro is very strong and does not come apart. I would say the only warning I have is to not wear it for prolong periods and take it off during meals and driving in the car. But its great to wear while sitting at your office/desk job or short walks.

I was boderline between sizes, I went up a size based on other reviews. I would have gone down a size after receiving the product, not returning though because it still works fine.
